History

The Fine Art Photography Association started in 2015 with a small group of interested participants.

On 08 April 2016, the group became incorporated with the official name of 'Fine Art Photography Association of South Australia Inc' (commonly referred to as FAPASA). In the same year, FAPASA became an affiliated club of the South Australian Photographic Federation Inc (commonly referred to as SAPF).

FAPASA has grown from a small group in 2015 to 29 members in 2026, with the majority of the membership exhibiting on a regular basis.

Membership

Prospective members are invited to attend one or two meetings to gauge their interest in our activities. Membership is open to South Australian photographers who wish to develop their skills in a non-competitive club environment, with the focus on exhibiting their work.
